Looking for a creative author to open up new worlds for your audience in the classroom, in an exhibition, or online?
Putting out educational content that sets you apart is becoming increasingly important, but equally as difficult. With over five years of experience as a (co-)writer for a diverse range of educational materials, I know how to customize my content to fit the specific goals and needs of individual users. I’ve written content for digital platforms as well as old-school lesson books, ranging from classroom exercises to audio scripts. My key philosophy is to create content that reflects society and makes each user feel seen and heard.

I enjoy experimenting with creative, interdisciplinary ways to convey information that stimulate learning through exploring, especially for kids and teens. I’m used to working quickly and adapting to last-minute innovations in the worlds of digitization and teaching. In my own experience, language and culture education can have a great impact on shaping a collective and individual identity, which is why I want to make everyone feel included. I incorporate accessibility, diversity and inclusivity in my language, sources and subject matter. I write about varied topics like history, literature, language, LGBTQ+ discourse, social work and mental health. By holding up mirrors and opening windows to familiar and new worlds, I create shared (learning) experiences that stimulate mutual interaction and understanding.
I also enjoy flexing my writing muscles by publishing blogs, essays and opinion pieces about these and other topics. A selection of these can be found in my portfolio.
